The Zulu Pot Caterers & Events has been in business for over five years as an informal family business inspired by family recipes but was formally registered under the CPIC as (PTY) in February 2017.

The Zulu Pot is operating as a mobile catering company, providing complete mobile solutions to its clientele. With a motto “Love is in the pot” while we bring the pots to you. Our service focus are on social events, private functions/clients & office functions. Currently, the company employs over 15-part time staff and has 3 permanent staff members.

The Zulu Pot had worked with several reputable organizations. In June 2017 we won a Ballito Pro Shisanyama cookout competition, Hirsch’s cookout & many more. Later in 2017 to date, we became ambassadors of the Big Green Egg, conducting cooking demos. We have worked on events such as Wild Fest Festival, Durban Jazz Festival, and Fact Durban Rocks, and many more events around Durban.

The Zulu Pot has decided to enter into event coordination’s space where we host different types of social events, with a touch of performing arts and holistic educational events.

The involvement and exposure the team has, have given them enough on-the-job experience that is much needed in the events coordination space. Our events calendar has a busting range of events that fulfill different social needs.
